The two directors who are due to retire by rotation are Nick Brasher and Paul Kenny. Both have confirmed they are re-nominating for their positions on the Board. Accordingly, further nominations are hereby declared open.
Nominations are open and called for in the election of two directors to represent the membership of NHIA on the Board.
Nominees must be nominated by a full NHIA member who is in good financial standing with the Association using the nomination form. The nomination must contain the written consent of the nominee. Download the form here.
If more than two (2) nominations are received this exceeds the number of vacant positions, then an electronic ballot of all financial members will be held. Members will be notified if a ballot is required, and the vote will take place prior to the AGM. Results announced at the AGM.

Members can nominate themselves through their respective organisation or nominate someone you believe would be an excellent candidate.

The nomination form must be received no later than close of business Tuesday 30th June, 2026, AEST.

AGENDA ITEMS FOR ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
This communication also serves to call for members to submit agenda items for the Annual General Meeting by close of business, 5:00pm on Monday 13th July AEST.
Please note that the Association rules state that Ordinary business items on the AGM Agenda require a simple majority of those authorised votes that are exercised at the meeting. Special business items that would require an alteration to the Rules would require the vote of at least three-fourths (75%) of the authorised votes that are exercised at the Annual General Meeting.
